Hotcote electrifiable coated wire horse fencing is designed to discourage bad habits and contact with the fence.
Electrifiable Coated Wire
Hotcote® uses high tensile wire, coated in a highly conductive carbon compound which can deliver electric shock. It can be used as your entire fence or in conjunction with Horsecote® and/or Horserail® to create the exact look you desire.
Installation hardware features a patented procedure for attaching, joining and tensioning the coated wire providing a clean, neat look while being safe for both horse and rider. There is no stripping, crimping or notching needed and the end result is a properly installed fence with no exposed wires.

How Much Does Hotcote® Cost?
A coated wire fence is slightly cheaper than a fence with our rail products.
Hotcote’s features can deliver you more value than other horse fencing options for a fraction of the price. It can also be used as an electric offset.
Can I Install Hotcote® Myself?
Yes, if you follow the directions we provide and have some practical experience, you can successfully build this fence. It may take you a little while to complete, but like anything else, with more experience you become more proficient and faster. Try to learn as much as you can before starting the project. Also, you might consider using the services of a professional installer to drive or set the posts, leaving you to finish the rail.
